Martin has served three years on the WSRC representing the State Workforce Board. He has thirty three years experience implementing or analyzing workforce development policy and has made contributions to the Council in his former capacity as Chair of the Interagency Liaison Committee. Martin demonstrates an appreciation for the statewide nature of our work. He grew up in Central Washington and now resides in Olympia. Two seasoned Vice Chairs lend their support and expertise to the Council. Carol Maher, a former customer of DVR and the West Vice Chair, works two jobs. She is an employee of the State of Washington's General Administration who works to make state buildings more accessible to people with disabilities. She also works as a respiratory therapist. R. L. Roberts is the Council's East Vice Chair and the Chair of our Planning & Policy Committee. He represents Business and Industry on our Council and brings extensive knowledge of construction, trades and apprenticeship programs. The Executive Leadership Team is rounded out by five dedicated Committee Chairs. Kristopher Tefft of the Association of Washington Business, Chairs the Business Relations & Networking Committee. Bill Murray, the Councils out-going Chair is returning to his previous role as the Chair of the Council Effectiveness Committee. Jim Larson will be Chairing the Customer Satisfaction Committee. John Harrison will be Chairing the Interagency Liaison Committee. In addition to the committees whose leaders are represented on the Executive Committee, the Council also has an Ad Hoc Committee on Veterans Issues, which is being Chaired by Rudy Hernandez who represents staff working in the field. This dynamic and cohesive leadership team is well positioned to provide great service to the people of Washington State, especially those who care about Vocational Rehabilitation Services.
